Napier City is renowned as the Art Deco capital of the Southern Hemisphere after it was rebuilt in the early 1930's. The region is noted for its excellent local produced food and wine that is of the highest order combined with a strong "cafe culture". Situated on the coast 10 minutes north of Napier City, the emphasis at Seaspray Homestay is on peaceful relaxation in retreat-like surroundings and winding down from the pressures of everyday life.
Very close to the Pacific Ocean and the elements, you can enjoy watching the occasional ship or sea life go by or observing the gannets, fantails, wood pigeons, swallows and kingfishers go about their daily routine from the comfort of the patio. Enjoy all of this amidst a spectacular view of the vast Pacific at your doorstep, stunning sunrises and sunsets, in all of nature's elemental glory, this is "just what the doctor ordered", from the comfort of a casual, informal and spacious setting.

in a homey, “retreat-like” environment, always enhanced by the
therapeutic views and sounds of the Pacific Ocean.
From this remarkable location, in the midst of nature and
the elements, we have feasted our eyes on breathtaking sunrises,
startling moonlit seas, a symphony of bird life including Gannets,
Tuis, and other seabirds, hares and hawks, together with sea life
including dolphins, and the occasional whale or orca.
